Early-access notice

This is a working draft while Saam is in early access. A complete, legally reviewed version will be published before paid features launch. The summary below reflects our current practices honestly.

Short version

Saam stores the family data you and your family members create — events, tasks, lists, display names, profile colours. We don't sell it, we don't show ads, and we don't share it with anyone outside the family you belong to. We use industry-standard security and host on Supabase's EU infrastructure (Frankfurt).

What we collect

  • Your email address (for sign-in via magic link)
  • Your display name and profile colour
  • The family data you and your family members create
  • Basic usage telemetry (page views, errors) — no personal content

Who can see your data

Only members of your family. Data is isolated at the database level using Postgres row-level security — not just in the app code. Saam staff don't routinely read your content; we may access it if you ask for support or there's a security incident to investigate.

Third parties we use

  • Supabase — database, authentication, file storage (EU region)
  • Resend — sending sign-in emails
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Stripe — payments (when premium launches)

Each of these has their own privacy policy. We don't pass personal data to anyone else.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@getsaam.com and we'll get back within a few days. If you delete your account, your data is removed within 30 days (we keep a brief backup window for accident recovery).

Changes to this policy

We'll email anyone with an account before making any material change. Small clarifications get a quiet update with a new "Last updated" date.
